PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet lock device capable of automatically locking a pallet and exhibiting enhanced ease of operation. SOLUTION: A pallet abutting member 24 pressed by the pallet P in which a fork 7 is inserted and varying the posture is provided on a lift bracket 5 as a lifting body. A lock bar 11 energized to a direction pressing with respect to the pallet P in which the fork 7 is inserted is provided on the lift bracket 5. Further, a transmission mechanism 25 is provided for transmitting movements of the pallet abutting member 24 to the lock bar 11. When the pallet abutting member 24 is in a first posture wherein the pallet abutting member 24 is pressed by the pallet P, the lock bar 11 presses the pallet P in accordance with the energizing force. When the pallet abutting member 24 is in a second posture wherein the pallet abutting member 24 is released from pressing of the pallet P, the lock bar 11 is separated from the pallet P against the energizing force.
