ELECTRO-ELUTOR OF BIOMOLECULES FROM GEL USING RELATIVELY LOW VOLTAGE WITHOUT USING MEMBRANE

PURPOSE: An electro-elutor is provided, thereby rapidly electro-eluting biomolecules including DNA and protein from gel using relatively low voltage without drying buffer solution or burning the gel although a membrane is not used. CONSTITUTION: The electro-elutor(1) comprises an eluting channel(10) containing gel containing biomolecules such as DNA or protein and a buffer solution; a cathode terminal(20) and an anode terminal(30) electronically connected to the buffer solution in both ends of the eluting channel(10); an electrode installing portion(40) supporting the cathode terminal(20) and anode terminal(30); a frame(50) supporting the electrode installing portion(40); and a electric power supplying device which is connected to the cathode terminal(20) and anode terminal(30) to supply electric power to them, wherein the biomolecules are eluted from the gel and transferred to the anode terminal through the buffer solution when the electric current is applied to the cathode terminal(20) and anode terminal(30).
