PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder method Nb<SB>3</SB>Sn superconductive wire rod which demonstrates superior superconductive characteristics as a wire rod with stabilized copper and can be made a secondary stack superconductive wire rod. SOLUTION: This is the Nb<SB>3</SB>Sn superconductive wire rod manufactured using a method to fabricate a superconductive wire rod using a powder. One or a plurality of pieces of core wires composed of Nb or Nb group alloy are arranged in a sheath made of Ta or Ta alloy arranged in a stabilized Cu sheath, and a powder of an alloy of at least one kind of metal out of Ta, Nb, and Ti with Sn, an intermetallics compound powder, or a mixed powder are filled into a space formed between the sheath of Ta or Ta alloy and the core wire, and the wire rod applied with a shrinking process of this is fabricated as a primary superconductive wire.
