PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with incidental works upon installation of a pure water production device and to reduce the burden on maintenance. SOLUTION: The pure water production device 10 has a cylindrical housing 11 for housing an ion exchange resin 12 and a water collection pipe 14 inside thereof. In the upper lid 15 for closing the upper opening for replacing the ion exchange resin 12, a raw water inflow port 16 and a treated water outflow port 17 are formed. One end of metal piping 21 is connected to the treated water outflow port 17, and the other end of the metal pipe 21 forms a faucet for feeding pure water at the upper part of the cylindrical housing 11.
