PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the missing of self-diagnosis information due to the failure of the supply of a battery, or a defective writing and so forth from occurring as a control device of an electronic device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A data repair is performed for each other with self-diagnosis information on a subsidiary storage 11 for the missing of self-diagnosis information on a main storage 6, and with the self-diagnosis information on the main storage 6 for the missing of the self-diagnosis information on the subsidiary storage 11. By such a constitution, the missing of the self-diagnosis information due to the failure of the supply of the battery, or the defective writing and so forth can be prevented from occurring, and the operation of the self-diagnosis information of a high reliability can be performed.
