<p>A drive mechanism to open doors, windows etc. consists essentially of a cylinder incorporating a piston driving the opening mechanisms in particular of emergency smoke ventilation flaps in a flat roof. The assembly has a hollow chamber linked to the opening mechanism cylinder chamber. The hollow chamber sidewall has a cartridge that is triggered by electrical, pneumatic or thermal action. The cartridge energy opens the emergency ventilation flap. The cartridge has an associated condition indicator.</p> |
