<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read image data written in an IC memory and easily and quickly display an image. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic photo-stand is provided with an IC memory reader which reads the image data step by step. The IC memory reader successively reads the pixel data of pixels P1 arrayed every three pixels. Afterwards, a first reduced image constituted only of the pixel data of the pixels P1 is displayed at a display. Then, the IC memory reader successively reads the pixel data of pixels P2 other than the pixels P1 among the pixels arrayed every other pixel. Afterwards, a second reduced image constituted of the pixel data of the pixels P1 and the pixels P2 is displayed at a display. Then, the IC memory reader reads the pixel data of pixels other than the pixels P1 and the pixels P2.
