<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic material for vehicles which is enhanced in acoustic performance relating to the acoustic material for vehicles, such as a roof trim, rear parcel shelf. <P>SOLUTION: The acoustic material (the roof trim) for vehicles is constituted by laminating a cover adhesive layer (a hot melt film) 32 and a rear surface nonwoven fabric layer 40 respectively through reinforcing layers 31 and 41 on the front and rear surface sides of a foam layer 20 of a closed cell type to constitute a raw fabric S as a base and subjecting the raw fabric S to thermal expansion, then to needle hole making, and integrating the raw fabric to a cover layer 30 by pressing, thereby molding the roof trim 10 of the required shape. At the time of the needle hole making of the raw fabric S, needle holes 50 provided with angles are fabricated, by which the acoustic performance is enhanced.
