PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum composite material which has superior scuffing resistance and abrasion resistance, and shows superior extrusion characteristics; part items for machine structure; and a method for forming an extruded material made of an aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: The aluminum composite material comprises the aluminum alloy 10 and hard particles 20. The aluminum alloy 10 includes, by mass%, 3% to 9.5% iron (Fe), 1% to 6% copper (Cu), 0.3% to 3% magnesium (Mg), and more than 0 but less than 1 mass% silicon (Si). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
