摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide an output method in accordance with a difference of characteristics of an image and output the image with its output format when the image dimensions formed of image data extends beyond the dimensions for output of the image output device.

SOLUTION: When a decision means decides that the image dimensions exceed the output dimensions, one of the output formats is referred to with respect to a plurality of conditions for the characteristics for the image stored in a setup storage means and each of their conditions, the output format is decided from the characteristics for the image formed of the image data, and the image output device is controlled so that the image is outputted with the output format decided by the decision means based on the image data.
