PAPER AND SUPPORT FOR IMAGE RECORDING MATERIAL AND IMAGE RECORDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paper and a support for an image recording material having high planarity and to provide the image recording material having high image quality and high glossiness and slightly causing curls of an image forming surface after forming the image.

SOLUTION: The paper is characterized in that internal bond strength specified by JAPAN TAPPI No.54 is ≥160 mJ and the center surface average roughness (SRa) under conditions of 0.3-0.4 mm cutoff in at least one surface of the paper is ≤0.9 μm in the paper containing at least base paper. The support for the image recording material is characterized in that the support is composed of the paper. The image recording material is characterized as having at least an image recording layer on the support and using the support for the image recording material as the support.
