<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate the business of managing the deposits of inpatients in hospital facilities and the service business of a shop directly related to the business of managing the deposits. <P>SOLUTION: This deposit management system comprises a system server in which each inpatient's deposit data is stored; a first computer terminal provided in the store; and an optical reading means. After an inpatient's identification code is inputted to the first computer terminal, the first computer terminal is used to deposit cash and make inputs for disbursement according to slips. Then the amount of deposit included in the deposit data is updated. When a merchandise code is read with the optical reading means, the deposit data is updated as to the amount of deposit according to the price of the merchandise and the kind of merchandise corresponding to the merchandise code is written. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
