PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Cu joined structure in which Ag is used for an insert, the joining strength thereof is equivalent to that of a base metal Al, and the joining characteristic is excellent. SOLUTION: (1) The Al-Cu joined structure using a brazed structure using Ag as an insert of a joining surface between an Al member and a Cu member, and an Ag layer is remained on the joining surface after the brazing. (2) In the Al-Cu joined structure manufacturing method, when brazing the Al member and the Cu member, Ag is used for the insert of the joining surface thereof, and the Ag layer is remained thereon. (3) In the Al-Cu joined structure manufacturing method, when brazing the Al member and the Cu member by using Al-Si brazing filler metal, Ag is used for the insert of the joining surface thereof, the brazing temperature is > 813°K, and the Ag layer is remained thereon.
