PURPOSE: A wheel bearing device having a spindle as an inner ring for a vehicle is provided to reduce the number of parts and to improve assembly efficiency by integrating a ball support unit having an inner ring function for supporting an outer ball to the spindle. CONSTITUTION: A wheel bearing device is combined between a spindle(1) joined with a knuckle(2) and a wheel mounting flange(3) in which a drum(4) and a wheel(5) are united by a bolt. An outer ball(8) combined between the wheel mounting flange and the spindle to roll is integrated with the spindle and held by a ball support unit(9) functioning as an inner wheel(6). An inner ball(7) is supported by the inner ring inserted into the spindle. The surface of the ball support unit integrated to the spindle is treated thermally.
