<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method, an information processing program and a device that reduces a user's stress by providing the user with an uninterrupted service. <P>SOLUTION: A network system comprises a printing device 11, a search server 12 for searching for a given server, servers 13 to 17 having various functions, and a network 18. In the system, the printing device 11 sends a connection request for image editing service reception to the server 13, and if there is no response, inquires of the search server 12 and continues the image editing service reception from another server 14 found. If an image editing service is provided by the server 14, the URL thereof is saved as a secondary server in the printing device 11, so that if there is no response to a connection request again from the server 13, the image editing service is received from the server 14 according to the saved URL. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
