PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a skew angle component in a dipole ring magnetic field generator. SOLUTION: In the magnetic field generator 1, for generating a substantially unilateral magnetic field in an annular internal space by a plurality of annular magnet elements arranged such that the magnetizing direction of each magnet element makes one revolution in a semicircle of the ring, correction magnets 201-204 are arranged at the outer edge part forming an opening in the Z-axis direction of the magnetic field generator assuming that the Z-axis is the central axis of the magnetic field generator, Y-axis is perpendicular to the Z-axis and parallel with the unilateral magnetic field, and X-axis is perpendicular to the Z-axis and the Y-axis.
