PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for visually searching a memory module in a complicated memory system. SOLUTION: This method for visually searching the memory module (450) has a step wherein a circuit (454) on the memory module to visually searched receives electronic information, a step wherein the index of the memory module (450) is set in an activated condition by receiving the electronic information, and a step wherein an index element on the memory module is set in an ON condition electronically when setting the index in the activated condition and drawing attenuation to the memory module.
