PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical interconnect of parallel fiber fan-out for optical fiber system. SOLUTION: The fiber ribbon has a first prescribed pitch and includes a plurality of first segments of optical fibers extending side by side on a plane. The fiber fan-out includes a plurality of second segments of optical fibers extending in a manner spreading from the fiber ribbon. The fiber holder extends over the plurality of second segments of optical fibers for the purpose of holding the plurality of end parts of the second segments with a second prescribed pitch. The second prescribed pitch is larger than the first prescribed pitch, the end parts each are optically coupled to a plurality of optical sub-assemblies in corresponding linear arrangement.
