MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF CHLORINATED POLYOLEFIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the burning of a chlorinated polyolefin when exposed to high temperatures of 120°C to 200°C in the separation process. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process of a chlorinated polyolefin in which a polyolefin dissolved or suspended in a solvent is subjected to chlorination reaction in the presence of a radical generator using chlorine or sulfuryl chloride or chlorine and sulfuryl chloride, a hindered phenolic compound is added to the reaction solution of the chlorinated polyolefin from the end of the reaction to the end of the separation process.
