PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition member easily installed, high in versatility and allowing maintenance without dismantlement. SOLUTION: This partition member 30 for partitioning a space which a worker can enter during excavation work, from a movable part of a belt conveyor 22 for conveying sediment produced in excavation work, has a pair of post members 31 located outside the movable part and detachably erectable at a frame 24 supporting the movable part, and a net material 34 detachably stretched between the pair of post members 31.
