RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD, RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, RADIO BASE STATION APPARATUS, AND COMMUNICATION TERMINAL APPARATUS

A radio communication method capable of causing the TFC pointer of a communication terminal apparatus to coincide with the TFC pointer of a radio base station apparatus. A mobile station changes and causes its TFC pointer to agree with a decided TFC and transmits a TFCI at a time (t3). The base station checks the TFCI and updates and causes its TFC pointer to agree with the TFC indicated by the TFCI. The base station then decides and compares a new TFC pointer with the updated TFC pointer, thereby producing and transmitting an up/down/keep signal at a time (t5). The mobile station updates, based on the up/down/keep signal received at a time (t6), its held TFC pointer. As a result, even if the mobile station erroneously receives the up/down/keep signal at a time (t2), the TFC pointers of the mobile and base stations can be caused to coincide with each other.
