<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method which ensures a high print quality showing excellent ink absorbency; sufficient density and successful mar resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In this ink jet recording method, recording is made using an ink containing a pigment to an ink jet recording sheet containing a vapor-phase silica which has a specific surface area of 40 to 100 m<SP>2</SP>/g as measured by the BET method and shows a coefficient of variation of not more than 0.4 in a primary particle diameter distribution and a hydrophilic binder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
