<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a Hail test with a simple device and procedure at a stable rate while minimizing wastes. <P>SOLUTION: In this Hail test device for shooting an ice ball from a shooting cylinder by the pressure of a gas, the shooting cylinder is located with an elevation with the horizontal plane, and a shooting port for the ice ball is provided at the upper tip of the shooting cylinder.
