PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor of a hybrid vehicle which reduces a cost without decreasing a strength of a rotor and which can shorten an entire length of a crank width direction. SOLUTION: The electric motor of the hybrid vehicle, sandwiched between an engine E and a transmission T includes the rotor 4 directly coupled to a crankshaft 3 of the engine E, and a stator 11 corresponding to the rotor 4 in such a manner that a rotor centerline 20 is set off to the transmission T side to a stator centerline 19.
