NEW PROTEIN AND DNA ENCODING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze a basic sequence of a cDN clone contained in a full length cDNA library and specify bioactivity of the protein which a cDNA having new sequence as full length encodes and suggest a protein based on the bioactivity and a method for utilizing the DNA encoding the protein.

SOLUTION: The protein is (a) a protein composed of a specific amino acid sequence or (b) a protein composed of an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids lack, substituted and/or added and having transcriptional control activity.
