GOLF BALL AND MOLD FOR MOLDING ITS CORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-piece golf ball provided with both of high resilience and soft feeling when hitting.

SOLUTION: The golf ball is provided with a core 1, an intermediate layer 3, and a cover 5. The intermediate layer 3 is provided with a plurality of openings where the core 1 is exposed. The outer peripheral surface of the intermediate surface 3 and the surfaces of the core 1 exposed from the openings are on nearly the same spherical surface. The hardness of the intermediate layer 3 is higher than that of the core 1.
