PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection method for blasting or the like, a tunnel excavation method and a protection device for blasting or the like, for example, capable of being suitable for excavating a mountain tunnel, safely evacuating a slippage processing machine to a position near to the protection device in the case a cutting face is blasted, quickly and rationally carrying out slippage processing, improving the cycle time, at the same time, obtaining the good adhesion effectiveness of the protection device even at various construction sites, surely preventing the leakage of dense powder dust or the like after the blasting, preventing the deterioration of a working environment, being made to correspond to the new construction of a tunnel or the widening or the like of the existing tunnel, rationally and quickly excavating the tunnel, shortening a construction period of time as well as the reduction of a construction cost, at the same time, making lightweight and compact design with a simple constitution as well as the facilitation of dealing at a low cost and making easily and quickly installation and withdrawal. SOLUTION: The protection method for blasting or the like is so constituted that the protection device 10 is installed by separating from a blasting section. The approximately bag-like flexible protection device 10 capable of filling fluid is conveyed to a predetermined position. The protection device 10 is filled with the fluid and is installed.
