A method for fitting glazing (2), e.g. double glazing panels, to a wooden frame for a door or window has metal retaining strips (3) fitted one or both sides and locating into grooves in the frame. The outer ends of the retaining strips are hidden by a wooden trim strip (4) secured to the strip and/or the frame using hidden threaded fasteners (5) or by adhesive. The trim strips match the rest of the wooden frame.
