PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary block for a drainage ditch installed along a boundary between a sidewalk section and a driveway section of a road or along a median strip of a road center section, low in manufacturing cost and having excellent durability. SOLUTION: This boundary block is composed of a lower block 1 and an upper block 13 molded out of high strength concrete. The lower block 1 is formed in an approximately L-shaped cross section having a bottom face part 3 and a back face part 2, and the tip part cross section of the bottom face part 3 is made thick and shaped to be able to place the lower end part of the upper block. The upper block 13 has a front face part 14, an upper face part 15 extending backward from the upper end of the front face part 14, and a lower face part 16 extending frontward from the lower end of the front face part 14. The tip part cross section of the front face part 14 is made thick and shaped to be placeable on the back face part upper end of the lower block 1, and no reinforcing part or the like is formed in an internal space part.
