PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger having a fin reasonably constituted. SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger comprising a first tube 210 mounted at the upwind side in the ventilating direction, a second tube 220 mounted at the downwind side in the ventilating direction, and the corrugate type fin 300 mounted over the first tube and the second tube in the width direction, the fin comprises a cut part 310 for increasing the thermal resistance between a first tube side and a second tube side, and a projecting piece 320 raised from the cut part, and at least a part of the projecting piece gets behind the first tube when observed from the ventilating direction. Further the cut part and the projecting piece are formed by making a cut on a desired part of the fin, and plastically deforming the material, and the projecting piece is separated from the cut part by utilizing the rigidity of the projecting piece in plastic deformation of the material.
