METHOD FOR RECOVERING NUCLEIC ACID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover a ribonucleic acid and/or a deoxyribonucleic acid from a sample containing a ribonucleic acid and deoxyribonucleic acid. SOLUTION: A method for recovering a nucleic acid by contacting a low-temperature eluent to a nucleic acid-capturing substance capturing a ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). The recovery ratio of RNA and DNA by the eluent changes with the temperature of the eluent and the low-temperature eluent has greatly larger recovery ratio of DNA than that of RNA.
