<p>The sealing element (18) has a sealing ring (30), positioned between 2 cooperating housing halves (14,16) of the electrical component housing (12) and provided with a vent channel (36) which is open to the environment (40) surrounding the housing and coupled to an elastic balloon (42), contained within the component housing. The sealing ring and the balloon may be formed as a single component, the size and elasticity of the balloon selected so that the electrical components (24) within the housing are not damaged upon its maximum inflation. An independent claim for a control device for a heater provided with a sealing element is also included.</p> |
