PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device providing white luminescence by mixing three colors, i.e. red, blue and green. SOLUTION: This organic EL device is formed by inserting a plurality of organic luminous layers between an anode 15 and a cathode 21 and emits light by combining holes injected from anode 15 to the organic luminous layer with electrons injected from cathode 21 to the organic luminous layer. A red luminous layer 18a, a blue luminous layer 18b and a green luminous layer 18c are laminated in this order from the side of anode 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
