METHOD OF SHARING A RADIO PROTOCOL ENTITY FOR BROADCASTING AND MULTICASTING, SPECIALLY IN CONNECTION WITH USING A SINGLE PROTOCOL ENTITY AND A SINGLE PARAMETER VALUE FOR AN MBMS

PURPOSE: A method of sharing a radio protocol entity for broadcasting and multicasting is provided to share the second layer protocol entity of a radio protocol in different cells, thereby minimizing a data loss and a bearer setup delay while saving network resources. CONSTITUTION: An MS receives the first parameter value and the first parameter value indicator. The MS sets a channel by using the parameter value. The MS receives the second parameter value indicator. If the first parameter value indicator is identical with the second parameter value indicator, the MS maintains a set channel. The MS receives CPV(Common Parameter Value) information on a new cell while deleting CPV information on a previous cell, and stores the CPV information on the new cell. The MS receives MBMS data through an MBMS channel in the new cell by using the CPV information on the new cell.
