A sunshade 1 comprises a central shaft 13 with a rib mounting member 11 at its top. A plurality of ribs 14 are pivotally attached to the rib mounting member and also pivotally connected to stretchers 15 that are connected to a slide runner 12. The sunshade includes a radio device 10 which comprises a radio module 2 and a power module 3. The radio module 2 comprises two casing halves 21 that are mounted to the shaft 13 of the sunshade. One of the casing halves accommodates a load speaker 215 and a circuit board 214. A control panel 213 is formed between the two casing halves and covers a control plate 217 that extends into a hole 131 within the shaft 13. Wires 219 connect the radio module to the power module and run within the shaft 13. The power module may include a photoelectric plate (32 fig 3) and at least one solar battery (34 fig 3) forming a solar energy device. The power module may include a battery unit (412 fig 9) that is accommodated within a housing located inside that shaft 13 and below the radio module. |
