The method involves first determining the path of motion, which has several sections according to the process steps carried out, then manually correcting it. The manual correction involves a computer (9) allocating a reference point, line or surface (7) in or on the workpiece (5) with each movement section that forms a reference parameter in the respective section for a manual correction of the movement path. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a device for implementing the inventive method.
