t is described herein a paddle adequate for use in small-sized floating means such as air mattresses, air boats, small-sized canoes and exercising crafts. It comprises an immersed section 1 displacing water, a forehand counter support, and a driving section composed of pairs of portions 2,3 extending, in general, in parallel from both ends of the immersed section 1 and connected, as to the transversal, in one hand to the front grip portion 4 being in proximity to the immersed section 1, and on the other hand to the rear arm counter support 5. Between the grip portion 4 and the arm counter support 5 there is formed an opening 7 destined for the user's forehand insertion. During use of the paddle, propulsion forces acting in pairs are exerted around the grip portion 4, said propulsion forces being created by the resistance of the displaced water against the immersed section and the hand resistance against the surface of the arm's counter support portion. |
