Expanded body (1) comprises a rear part with a pull (12) having a sleeve (2) in which a pulling element (13) is guided. The sleeve is connected to a sectional part of the expanded body along a connecting line (21). The length of the sleeve is less over a part of the periphery of the sleeve than on the connecting line. An independent claim is also included for a device for drying and/or smoothing articles of clothing containing the expanded body.
