<p>The device comprises a handle (29) pivotally connected to a vertical side (4') of the shutter frame (4) and link piece (34) pivotally connected to the handle and shutter (3) via first and second pivot axes (35, 37) via a guide (13) close to one of the bottom corners of the frame. This guide is contact with the bottom guide rail (2) for the shutter and is located on the same side of the shutter frame as the handle. Pivoting the handle from a starting position so that it swings outwards in a first direction causes it to press the guide downwards so that the shutter adopts a tilted position. The guide is biased by a spring (38) forming part of an eccentric mechanism so that when the handle is moved past an eccentric pivot position beyond the position in which the shutter becomes tilted, the guide is returned to its upper starting position and disengaged from the bottom guide rail. The frame has guides (10, 11) close to its top corners for engaging with the top guide rail (1). The shutter can be tilted about an axis located to one side of the shutter frame on the opposite side to the handle. This axis extends at right angles to the shutter.</p> |
