The invention relates to a process for repairing and reinforcing wooden bars which are highly damaged as a result of a plurality of physical, chemical and mechanical factors acting concomitantly upon the timber elements during exploitation. According to the invention, the process consists of the hybridization of the timber section by scaling the timber part (1) until obtaining a sound surface, the impregnation of the damaged areas (2) and the related ones for the restoration of the initial geometrical shape, the cutting, in the non-fractured areas, of a number of holes (3) wherein some accessories (4) made of fibrous composite material of the unsaturated polyesther resin-type reinforced with industrial glass fibres or natural hemp threads whose free ends fit tightly to the timber part surface and are impregnated with resin (5), finally, the reshaped area being spliced with various layers of industrial fibre felting or texture (6), each layer being then impregnated with resin.
|
