PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a crack by using an image processing technology is provided to achieve an image data of a crack by operating an image obtaining switch of a camera adhered to a housing adjacent to a crack point and to automatically calculate and store a width of the crack. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring a crack by using an image processing technology includes a housing(201) surrounding an image obtaining(206), an illumination unit(207), and a magnifying lens(205). The housing(201) changes a width of the crack by uniformly maintaining a measurement distance of the camera(206). A handle(202) includes a photographing switch and a display unit. A memory unit is provided to store photographed image data. A CPU operation unit calculates the width of the crack. A magnifying lens(205) is magnified and reduced by a magnification, which is uniformly established to easily measure a minute crack.
