A method and a system for acknowledging telephone calls are provided to prove a telephone call between two parties by using a certificate of a third party and publishing the telephone call to the third party by issuing the certificate on a recorded telephone call. A system for acknowledging telephone calls includes a telephone connection module(510), a voice recording module(520), a service web site(530), and a database server(540). A caller or a receiver connects to the telephone connection module(510) via a communication network. The voice recording module(520) is connected to the telephone connection module(510) and records voice communications on a magnetic disk. The caller or the receiver is connected to the service web site(530) via internet. The database server(540) includes a magnetic disk for storing voice record information and a command module for performing data base commands according to the voice record information.
