A tool for rotary knives of the type that has a handle associated with a tool supporting assembly and means for the rotary actuation of the tool with respect of said tool supporting assembly, the tool comprising a substantially tubular coupling body that is associable with said tool supporting assembly and is provided with means for coupling to said actuation means, and cutting means that are rigidly associated with said body, characterized in that said cutting means are arranged so that they protrude substantially radially and outwardly with respect to said body.
