Novel method and compositions for local treatment of Meniere's disease, tinnitus and/or hearing loss

The use of a prostanoid FP receptor agonist or prostaglandin of the F-type, or a derivative thereof, for the manufacture of a medicament for local treatment of Meniere's disease, tinnitus and/or hearing loss is disclosed. The pharmaceutical composition disclosed is suitable for local administration to the inner air and comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier which can be a slow release matrix or gel. The carrier may be hyaluronic acid or cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
