A brake pressure regulator 3 is coupled to an hydraulic control line 1 through a piston 12 operatively connected to a control member 13 of the regulator and a valve 6 which is opened during regulation by contact with the piston 12 and is closed at other times when it is out of contact with the piston 12. The control line 1 may be connected to a component of a hydropneumatic suspension system. Adjustment.-An adjusting gauge 18 is used for setting the position of the valve, the connection being tightened until the gauge 18 is nipped between the piston 12 and ring 4. The gauge is then withdrawn. In use, the aperture 15 (which is also used for introducing the pressure medium) is closed by a plug (16).</p> |
