The invention relates to chromogenic compounds and the use thereof for the determination of enzymes of the family of carboxypeptidases N and carboxypeptidases U. The above is more specifically a compound of formula (I) in which A = (1), (2), (3), (4) or (5), R1, R2 = H, -CH>3<, -CH(CH>3<)>2<, -OCH>3<, -CI,-CF>3<,-OCF>3<,-SCH>3<, R>3< = an amino acid group which may be hydrolysed by a carboxypeptidase A and R>4< = a basic amino acid group. |
