FIELD: transport engineering; truck-tractors. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for truck-tractor which includes two sidemembers of frame and towing gear. Frame sidemembers pass lengthwise the truck-tractor parallel to each in plane being mainly parallel to ground along which truck-tractor runs. Towed vehicle can be coupled with truck-tractor by means of towing gear secured on towing bar passing between two side members of frame in tail part of truck-tractor. Device is essentially bearing arrangement placed in tail part and connected with two sidemembers of frame and it includes at least one elongated bar member connected with first of frame sidemembers. In longitudinal direction, bar member passes at considerable angle of tilting relative to plane. Device provides supporting of frame sidemembers when truck-tractor is exposed to action of heavy sidewise forces when towing a trailer. ^ EFFECT: provision of compact design. ^ 9 cl, 3 dwg |
