FIELD: transport engineering; automatic driving. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed sensor is made in form of two supports 1 interconnected by crossmember 2. Stop 3 is mounted on one end of crossmember to thrust against external side surface of disk of vehicle steerable wheel 4. Other end of crossmember is provided with pin 5 spring-loaded relative to said crossmember for engagement with disk of wheel 4. Pin is connected through electromagnetic lock with one end of measuring strip 9.
