<p>The grid (5) carrying the meat or other food to be grilled is suspended on chains (2) or metal ropes (4) from a stand (7) above the charcoal container (8). A spherical case attached to the chain, the rope respectively, accommodates a spring (1) which can be wound up in order to cause the grill (5) to rotate.
