<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having excellent battery performance even though a normal temperature molten salt is used for a nonaqueous electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery has positive and negative poles. In the nonaqueous electrolyte, the normal temperature molten salt and a lithium salt are used. The normal temperature molten salt is formed by at least quaternary ammonium organic material cation and anion composed of a non-metallic element only. The lithium salt is formed by a lithium ion and the anion composed of the non-metallic element only. In the nonaqueous electrolyte battery, the concentration of lithium salt is at least 0.5mol/1 and an acid anhydride should be contained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
